Hey everyone, looking for a couple volunteers to help out with tonight’s Father/Son game — we need a referee and a timekeeper (assuming they’ll let us use the clock). Let me know if you’re able to help out.

Also, we’ve made a reservation for a team dinner at Chilly Willy’s following the game, all are welcome to join (not just the dad’s). See you all tonight!

First off, I just want to let everyone know that the Aurora’s fundraiser tickets are in and each player will get 10 tickets at our next practice to sell for team fundraising at $10 each for a total of $100 from each player. Money from the fundraising tickets needs to be submitted back to the team no later then January 15, 2015. Furthermore, if any player wants to sell extra tickets ( we give 5 extra at a time) they can sell those and any extra money they raise can be put forward towards their own team fees. If anyone has any questions please send me a message or come talk to me at the rink.

Secondly, we have reserved rooms at the Voyager Inn for our St. Ignace tournament January 9th – January 11th. If you plan on staying in St. Ignace for the tournament please contact the hotel at 1-877-643-1530 before December 19th, 2014 to book your room. The rooms are $80 a night and let them know the rooms are for Stich King hockey team when booking.

Lastly, for our tournament in Detroit the weekend of January 30 – February 1, 2015 we need to know how many rooms you will require and how many people will be staying in the room (ex: 1 room, 2 adults and 1 child) so we can let the hotel know. Can everyone please get me this information (either message me or let me know at the rink) by December 19th?

Hello everyone,

We’re planning our annual Father/Son hockey game for Friday, December 19th, 6pm @ Essar — we understand it’s a busy time of year but this is a really fun event so hopefully everyone can make it! After the game we’ll head to a nearby restaurant (location TBD) for some food and drinks.

Dads, please let us know if you’re playing so we can plan accordingly.

Just wanted to let everyone know we’ve planned a team meal for after our game tonight — we’ll be meeting at Centre Ice (above Peewee Arena) for their pizza buffet at 6:15 tonight. Parents are welcome to join, the team will be covering the cost of the players meals.
